Pileated
Gibbons Project
The
Gibbon Conservation Center would like to award $250.00 towards
the conservation of pileated gibbons (Hylobates pileatus) in Thailand.
The study on pileated gibbons could be the distribution, hybridization
with lar gibbons (Hylobates lar), social behavior, diet, or habitat
viability. Funding would be awarded to a Master's or PhD candidate.
The proposal will need to be reviewed by the Gibbon Conservation Center
as well as the Asian Wildlife Consultancy before funding could be
granted.
An
additional $250.00 will be available once a report has been
reviewed by the Gibbon Conservation Center as well as the Asian Wildlife
Consultancy on the progress of the study.
